Expert estimate of the economic value of a holding company operating in the biomedical field

Our Firm prepared an expert estimate of the economic value of a holding company operating in the biomedical field, with shareholdings both in Italy and abroad, in order to allow an individual partner to recalculate the tax cost of the shareholding held.

In particular, it was decided to apply the market multiplier valuation methodology, which required:

1. the determination of the normalised EBITDA of the group of companies controlled by the company, through a critical analysis of the historical and prospective consolidated data provided by the corporate management;

2. the identification of a market multiplier based on publicly available data relating to companies comparable to the one being valued;

3. the determination of the net financial position of the company.
