Transaction for the acquisition of control of a professional football club

We granted legal assistance to certain international family offices and other investors in a transaction for the acquisition of control of a football club enrolled in the Italian professional league of “Serie B”. The transaction has been finalized through a share capital increase reserved in favour of the corporate vehicle identified by the investors.

The support offered by our firm concerned as well, in addition to the definition of all necessary company’s fulfilments and of the relevant corporate governance rules, the negotiation of agreements with existing shareholders and with the resigning management. Our firm also assisted the investors in obtaining all of the statutory authorizations from competent federal authorities.
